    In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

    I think culture causes North Americans to eat more meat than in other countries.  Since most people in the country are somewhere in a middle class, we can afford to buy a lot of meat. Meat is usually seen as a luxury, so when you can afford a luxury, why not indulge yourself?
