Action Track: Social Justice Support Indigenous Peoples' Land Management
Indigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?

All parts are interdependent on one another. Any change to one affects all. We must seek to balance out every change we make. When we don't--which is often--changes will occur on a scale and in a timeframe not in sync with nature.

Going well so far. Having a little trouble finding online training about indigenous peoples' care of the land but I will keep looking.
