My research has let me understand that just because something is best by or used by or sold by this date doesn't mean that i can't buy it. In fact it's better to do so depending on what the product is, as it won't be thrown away in stores.

On April 3rd I came home and had 1 bowl of leftovers, (a small bowl). And It was the only serving I had. I also took some time just reviewing over the topics of sell by, use by and best by. Sell by is the date at which the food for in whatever it is shouldn't be sold or consumed once going over. Use by is the date that is recommended for you to use the product. Best by is when the product is at it's greatest/recommended date it's best to be consumed or used.
