Steps I can take each day to reduce my energy usage would be shutting off lights and electronics every time I leave my home. Not using as many of these electronics unnecessarily while home. Making sure my home is insulated well and I make a point to use and/or purchase energy efficient appliances and lights.

Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

Micro turbines could be installed all along our coastal beaches, or on the high-rise beach condos that are currently erected or being built. They could also be installed on the many bridges we have here in Panama City Beach, FL. I think the potential uses for micro turbines in this area is limitless and definitely needed.

Reducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?

Other motivators that inspire me to switch to EV's are that these vehicles are designed and manufactured with a mindset and purpose of lessening our dependence on fossil fuel burning I.C.E. (Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles. This in turn I believe is the catalyst that will move our planet towards adopting a permanent renewable energy stance. Also, full EV's don't require oils for lubrication, fuel filters, etc., therefore cutting maintenance costs down to a fraction of the cost of an I.C.E. vehicles. The technology is improving more and more everyday, making them safer and more efficient than traditional cars in some respects. And EV's are super cool!
