REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these (or other) advantages inspire you the most?
Kerry-Jane King 4/15/2019 12:59 PMMost of the fruit, vegetables and dairy produce that I purchase are from local sources. I am a member of a CSA, and I purchase fruit, vegetables, eggs and cheese from my local farmers market. I also purchase bread from the farmers market and get local milk delivered to our house. I don't buy much fish or meat, but when i do, I try to source locally as well.
