    Transportation choices affect community. With more people walking and taking the public transportation the safety of all collectively goes up and also the local business benefit as people tend to buy local.

    Tidal wave generation is still in the initial phase of development. There is huge potential. Only Wind and solar can not offset carbon. This is another aux support for the carbon reduction.

    Capitalism, advertising, unawareness. 

    Way of living is convenient and lifestyle with least physical effort, subsequently leading to processed food consumption and unhealthy lifestyle.

    Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your zipcode, and in your state. What steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

    The energy usage comparison is available on the Utility's website. Mine is 16% lower then average. Most significant factors in reducing my energy usage is smart plug - It is not always feasible to replace appliance. Same can be accomplished by smart plugs and smart thermostat.
