  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Electricity Generation
Geothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. In what ways (i.e. with money, time, advocacy) can you invest in geothermal energy?

I can invest in geothermal energy by doing my part to learn more about the methods and spreading the word to other people who may have the ability money wise to make a difference.

    Food
In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

I think there are a few reasons for this, the main ones being exposure, availability, and ignorance. Because meat is known as the only resource for protein in our diets, people believe without doing any research that you need to eat meat to survive. In addition, I think our large meat production makes meat more accessible that its cheaper than a more efficient diet may be. I think it shows that we are willing to sacrifice our planet and have a shorter lifetime to have an easier lifestyle for the short time we have, instead of prolonging our lifetime but having to put in a little more effort.
