Lori Leach 4/12/2019 11:16 AMThere is a lot of meat available, we have money to spend on it, and it is relatively cheap, compared to other countries. Americans have always valued meat, and the ability to serve it demonstrates prosperity and status. -

Growing mushrooms on depleted grass and leaves and wood and eating them directly
Partially digesting wood with bacteria and feeding it to rats and then eating them
Feeding ruminants depleted grass and leaves and decomposed wood and then eating the meat/dairy
