  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

In my opinion the best benefit is a healthier you. It would contribute  to better mental and physical health, which contributes to better decision making and more production throughout the day.

It will allow me to make the decision to purchase items with a longer best by date, so I don't have to buy the same item as often, such as milk. I will try to get a date the supports 2 weeks out instead of 1.

Transport Research and Consider Switching to a Hybrid or Electric Vehicle
Reducing (or eliminating) exhaust emissions and improving public health are two benefits of green vehicles. What other motivators inspire you to consider switching to a more fuel-efficient vehicle?

The main motivator would be the potential savings associated with purchasing fuel.
