I'm glad to see that the utilization of biogas is increasing.  The American Biogas Council has some interesting stats on how each state is doing with regards to usage.

What does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?

This is where everyone is working together and shares similar goals and ideologies, so that we can achieve a common goal and live in peace.  It's one that has thought about how it's infrastructure should be built to address the growing concerns of climate change, and growing populations, with growing needs.  A community where everyone contributes to foster the greater good.

How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?

Apparently posted this answer to the wrong activity and I don't know how to undo it.
But i'll answer the peatland one here.
I never actually knew what that was until now.  It seems that everything is connected.  Land, including peatland, is being destroyed to make way for plantations, such as for Palm Oil, Cocoa, Coffee, etc.

It's been an eye-opening 2 days already.  Trying to figure out how to swap some of our usual grocery store buys to more sustainable options.

    Land Use Research Peatlands
Much of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?

Who knew so many things had palm oil in some way in them?  My kids will be sad to lose out on Oreos, but we'll have to make the switch.  This is not entirely surprising given that the list contains very much beloved items, especially coffee and chocolate.  Dairy and eggs are especially huge in our house.  In fact, my husband will have to stop buying his coffee chocolate chip ice cream as it has just about every item from that list.

This topic still amazes and saddens me.  With all the advancements made, this is an area that hasn't progressed much.

How does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?

This is actually very timely.  I'm trying to reduce the amount of food waste in my house and seeing if I can indeed use beyond certain dates, and now I know the difference.  What I've found is helpful is also only shopping for what I need when I need.  Since my commuter lot is the same lot as my grocery store, this is actually easy with no additional miles to drive.
