REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Go PaperlessWhat do you want to prioritize over material 'stuff' in your own life?
Reagan Malone 4/14/2019 4:09 PMI learned about how much paper is being used and how we can stop it. I read about how half of the paper we recieve gets thrown away after being used only once. I learned that the other half of the paper is repurposed. If we recycle paper then it won't go into the landfill, it will be repurposed. When we recycle paper, we are cutting down less trees. I learned that paper can be turned in to many different things like toilet paper rolls or office paper. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Use Forest-Friendly Foods 1How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?
Reagan Malone 4/12/2019 11:46 AMI think that my diet can be inpacting deforestation because I may be eating something that will end up in a forrest because it is now a new landfill. I learned about some foods that are a really big problem. Some of those foods were Palm Oil and Coffee. I am going to try to not eat foods that involve those ingredients. I choose article because I wanted to learn about deforrestation and how my diet alone may impact the enviorment. I still want to know what some foods don' t impact forrestation?-
Lisa Toulon 4/14/2019 4:03 PMReagan, this is a very thoughtful reply. I drink coffee every morning. How is this impacting deforestation? You might convince me to give up drinking coffee!
