REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Public TransitHow has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Brianna May 4/22/2019 11:36 AMI have taken transit for over 2 months now and I am used to driving my car everywhere. I have found that I took it for granted that I used my car for all transport, when transit is not only cheaper financially, but decreases pollution because of carpooling and less cars on the street. I have found that transit is convenient for me and I actually use it for work and off days because of its benefits. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Keep Track of Wasted FoodAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?
Brianna May 4/22/2019 11:33 AMI would rather use that money to travel or donate to environment causes! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Brianna May 4/22/2019 11:32 AMThe way we treat our animals to get the meat as well as adding in hormones to get "better results" of the meat changes not only our livestock conditions, but the way about health is. I would say North American value quantity over quality as well as do not look at the effects of our consumption/the animals are treated. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and Cities Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Brianna May 4/22/2019 11:30 AMthe nature is so beautiful when you finally reflect. I enjoy it because I'm usually walking dogs when I do my walks! More enjoyable would be listening to music during the walks that reflects my mood.
