Jennifer McKinley
"I want to educate myself and others on how to become part of the solution, instead of continuing to be part of the problem. I also want to help our kids have a clean safe earth to learn to care for - become stewards of - in a way that helps bring harmony to them and their future families."

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social JusticeGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?
Jennifer McKinley 4/24/2019 6:35 PMBecause women are typically focused on the well being of their children. Men too, but it seems we're generally socialized to leave the caring and nurturing of children to women. I know that's changing slowly... -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?
Jennifer McKinley 4/09/2019 5:41 PMEating smaller portions also helps aid in healthy digestion. We feel better and more energized by our food when our digestive system isn't overburdened. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and GirlsHow are people responding to the statistics you're sharing on social media?
Jennifer McKinley 4/08/2019 6:00 PMThey are warming up to it, I think. Because I'm posting mostly about women & girls, people are hesitant to participate, but I think the consistency will help. -
