The most single-use items I use regularly are plastic water bottles and plastic straws. What could be substituted for this would be reusable water bottles/containers and metal straws instead of plastic straws.

What do you want to prioritize over material 'stuff' in your own life?

There are a few things that I would like to prioritize over material "stuff" in my life. Since materialism is viewed at a want to fill a void somewhere in your life, it is good to stray away from it to focus on other aspects of your life. For example, one main thing I'd like to stray away from is the excess amount of clothes I own and focus on using the space it takes up for other projects. By straying away from this materialistic way of thinking, it can help me feel better of getting rid of old clothes I have no need to hang on to anymore, and from this go on to donate said clothes for someone else to use. This would help with some major cleaning by cluttering and offering change in my life.

One way I am going to incorporate other "R's" into my lifestyle is by using more reusable containers as opposed to plastic water bottles/cups or paper products. Planning to implement these "R's" into my lifestyle makes me feel hopeful about reducing the production of waste in my life.
