I am working real hard on not having any waste with food, making sure my portions are smaller.
Working on my husband who still believes we are cooking for an entire family now instead of just the two of us.  This is a work in progress.  But on a positive note he is taking food to some friends and family and sharing.  :)

I like knowing the differences in the dates listed on foods, so that I can make the best decisions about the food I buy so that there is no waste.

Some interesting information out there on shelf life, use by,  and sell by dates.  I liked the information they had out there pertaining to different food groups such as proteins, dairy, bread and fruits.

In researching this question, I found that I had no idea what eating meat meant to deforestation.  I have already cut out about 90% of beef and pork from my diet.  I am going to look at more ways I can make an impact.
