    Knowing what the difference is for use by, sell by, and best by will help me decrease my waste and make better decisions about what I purchase and eat

    While traveling the last two days, I not only paid attention to minimizing my waste, but found myself looking at others while out at restaurants.

    Tracking the food i wasted has opened my eyes to how much I waste. So, I have made some changes as it relates to the amount of food I put on my plate.

    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

    I would rather use money to save, donate to a good cause, and or tithe and support the church I attend
