REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social Justice Support Indigenous Peoples' Land ManagementIndigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?
Cindy Potter 4/17/2019 4:03 PMBalance keeps us returning to the center, keeps us from chasing extremes--and spiraling out of control. Balance reminds us to play the long game.

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Public TransitHow has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Cindy Potter 4/03/2019 12:22 PMFor the past three years, I've lived in a walkable urban setting with great public transportation. I have switched from freeway/car commuting and it has been life-changing--I now revel in how little I drive and enjoy the change of pace and additional time to myself.
