REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
Anthony Pukal 4/02/2019 11:03 AMI research foods sometimes to try to make a healthier diet if I feel i need more calories or just to bounce back after a couple days of eating unhealthy. Its a lot better for the body when you understand what goes in. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these (or other) advantages inspire you the most?
Anthony Pukal 4/02/2019 11:00 AMBuying fresh is a lot better than buyin whole processed foods. It is better for our boddy and some natural foods can be recycled back into the enironment. I try to find food at farmers markets as clean and healthy as possible. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Private vehicles account for 60% of trips of a mile or less. Do you often drive short distances instead of biking or walking? If so, how might incorporating an electric bike into your lifestyle help you make more climate-friendly choices?
Anthony Pukal 4/02/2019 10:54 AMI usually bike anywhere under 12 miles. If its 4 miles or less ill often walk. If it is above 12 miles i will get a ride from my parents.
