List some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

I often go to a nearby college because that is where my soccer team practices. During practices which are about two times a week, me and two of my other friends take turns driving and carpooling.

The challenges I am going to complete in the first few days of the challenge are, carpooling, eating a meatless meal each day, and using public transportation for sporting events (school sports games). I am interested to see how these actions will affect the Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere.

Buildings and Cities Go for a Daily Walk
What have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?

On walks to schools and around my street and house, I notice the lack of sidewalks around our area. I have enjoyed though that there are lots of plants and natural elements that give our area a scenic view. I would add more sidewalks and benches around town and Chappaqua so people can better enjoy their walks and will be more encouraged to take them.

    Food Reduce Animal Products
In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

I think the availability of fast food in America makes people in this country eat more meat than people living in other parts of the world. These meat products like hamburgers and chicken sandwiches are cheap which is why people buy them. This shows that America doesn't value health, and values cheap food with low nutritional values.

    Transport Use Public Transit
How has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

Throughout my life, I have had access to the bus to school but also using a car for transportation. When I am driving to school, and sitting on a line to be dropped off, I see that so many other's are being driven to school in their own individual vehicles. This has allowed me to see that we can easily reduce the gases put into the atmosphere by these cars by taking the busses available to all students.
