Supporting local farmers! Today my office had a potluck- Meatless Monday- with a kombucha tasting. The kombucha was from a local farmer and it was delicious!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Better digestion- instead of filling up and feeling "too full" I'm able to have the energy to take that walk after dinner instead of lying around complaining that I'm too full!
