What does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?

A sustainable community is one where people care about everything they do and realize that everything is connected. Each consumptive action we take as humans has some impact. Really for people to just wake up and realize we are all responsible for our own actions and to try and reduce or change the way we use materials. Thinking long term instead of splurge, making things last longer by fixing them instead of trash, consume, trash, consume, etc., etc

Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

Silvopasture is underutilized in the States. I have been in some wilderness (Lost Park) and national forest land where old land rights were granted in for cattle grazing land. These forests are some of the healthiest I've seen, cattle and forest find a balance producing lots of fungi and other biodiversity and also helping the cattle lead a more natural life, so I know it works. Limiting the consumption of beef and other cow products also helps make an impact.
