    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

One of the first things I noticed when I first started at my current position is the amount of shipping waste we generate. Although we cannot control how our vendor ship, it has been on my mind since I started in this position to create a program to recycle as much as we can from our shipped products.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

Feeding the homeless. It is truly sad the amount of money that goes to waste. It's important to be mindful.
