REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportHow has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Lizzie Schoon 4/24/2019 11:55 AMI didn't drive for the two years I was in Peace Corps, except one time on vacation. It totally changed my thinking about driving. I grew up in a family with a big car history-- my great grandfather, grand father and uncle all ran Schoon Motors, a GM Dealership in western Minnesota. Driving cars is in my blood! But after two years of relying on public transit, I came home wanting other options and really appreciating the buses and trains in Denver. I didn't have a car the first year I lived back in Denver and it was so easy. It's just gotten better since (that was 10 years ago). -
