  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport
List some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

I have to go to student teaching once a week so I can car pool with the other people that also student teach at the same school.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

I could use reuse in my life more by trying to reuse the different this that I obtain and trying to find another purpose for the object. I would refuse buying a plastic waterbottle or anything that has plastic. I can repurpose things like old furniture and use them.  It feels good to consider implenting the "R's" into my life.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Another benefit that eating smaller portions is it is better for my health and would help me to possible lose weight.
