REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn More about SilvopastureHad you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Linn Stanley 4/24/2019 8:43 AMI'd never heard of "silvopasture" before reading for this challenge. It seems like such a win-win. Shade and protection for livestock, great for the environment, an additional source of income for the landowner -- and it just looks so much prettier! I don't understand why this practice isn't more widespread. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and Girls Give a MicroloanGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?

Linn Stanley 4/09/2019 2:14 PMIf you haven't already seen it, One Strange Rock, a National Geographic Society documentary, is definitely worth watching. It explores some of the global earth processes that life on earth depends on and is REALLY fascinating. You can watch it on Netflix.-
