    In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

    Americans isn't known for it's healthy eating. Things like burgers or chicken are way more accessible and affordable than fresh fruit and vegetables. People aren't willing to spend the extra money to buy healthy foods and a lot of people cant afford it.

      I also think it has to do with our history of having lots and lots of land on the "frontier" and on the plains to raise livestock and graze cattle. The "American cowboys" were raising that beef for eating. Even though it was a long time ago, I think it influenced Americans' way of eating.
