REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportList some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
chris stewart 4/04/2019 7:36 AMI currently carpool to work whenever I can. My schedule and work priorities sometimes stop me from doing this, but in general I carpool most of the days in a week. I would say that if I go places on the weekend, I rarely go alone and almost always have a car full of people. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and CitiesWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
chris stewart 4/04/2019 7:29 AMI love to walk around the city daily. What I've noticed is the downtown (towards the water) sidewalks and walking areas are better up kept then when I travel away from downtown. Downtown is also more crowded, so some days I just want to walk and think so I go the opposite direction. I do find myself on higher alert on these walks because of the cities large homeless population and once in a while I'll have to make route changes to avoid an impaired individual. -
