Last year during the Challenge I purchased metal straws.  I then purchased some for family members and gave them as Christmas gifts.  I carry mine in my backpack or purse all the time and have been using them everyday.  It isn't much but I know that every little bit makes a difference.

I am a member of a philanthropic organization that supports education and empowerment of women.  We have education grants, scholarships and loans available for women of all ages and at all places in their lives.  We support undergraduate and graduate programs.  We also support our "own" women's college.  The organization is celebrating 150 years of existence in 2019.
