  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Land Use Support Indigenous Peoples' Land Management
Indigenous speaker and activist Winona LaDuke says that, "most indigenous ceremonies, if you look to their essence, are about the restoration of balance — they are a reaffirmation of our relationship to creation. That is our intent: to restore, and then to retain balance and honor our part in creation." Why is balance important to sustainability?

I donated  The Nature Conservancy because I feel restoration and conservation of the lands and waters on which all life depends is essential to maintain peace, balance, and stability among all people.

Lack of knowledge of the benefits that a plant-based diet can provide and an unwillingness to try new sources of protein such as tofu and tempeh. You CAN get enough protein without meat!

I enjoy taking a break away from my desk! I realized I am more productive afterwards. More pedestrian crosswalks would be nice.
