The annual meeting took me away from my computer for a few days but I hope to stay engaged at a better pace in the future. There is a lot of travel coming up and a whole lot of distractions, but rest assured eco-mindedness is very important to me.

Bringing back the natural ecosystem of our property created many benefits. The beauty of watching a forest grow is a mental and spiritual joy. Cross-country skiing through the forest is a physical joy second to none.

Planting trees was a goal of ours when we first purchased our acreage in 1986. We worked with the DNR to do a hardwood planting on 5 acres of land.
