    The fact that the earth is on the path to annihilation, and if we don't take action in the next 12 years my planet may or may not be inhabitable.

    My diet which contains a significant amount of palm oil directly contributes to deforestation. I could take the time to get food that contains less palm oil.

    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

    I would rather use that money for just about anything literally anything is better than throwing out that much money. I could get a super sweet gaming PC for that much money.
