    My challenge is going very well. I helped to plant tress on the Chatham campus that was received from Tree Pittsburgh. I have done suggested things above to reduce my carbon footprint.

    Food Composting
    Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

    Land. We need to use and respect our lands  so that we can fuel the people and animals that live on it.

    Most Americans think they need everything new and shiny. They need to buy second hand items and get the most use they can from the items, and then pass it on if it can still be reused. We are a throw away society, and it needs to stop.

    Biking to work makes me feel happier and more awake. My life is less rushed and more interpersonal.
