    I enjoy walking in our small downtown. It allows one to experience all the senses. Smelling the food and flowers, walking at a slow pace to enjoy relaxing and not having to rush.

    Our lung health is affected by air quality. As a nurse I work with people who have difficulty breathing especially if the air quality is poor. This prevents them from experiencing a quality life style in the great outdoors.

    Encourage recycling of trash products.  I notified our town council that we needed trash bins that are labeled for recycling at the train / bus station.

    I appreciate and enjoy nature and the awesomeness of how the earth provides what we need to live a healthy life.

    It has been taught that we should have a meat, veggie and bread at each meal. Re education that our body does not require Meat as our protein....there are many other sources of protein.

    I planted 4 fruit trees and 6 shade and nut trees this past weekend. I used compost and mulch to enrich the soil and it looks beautiful. I am excited to share the future benefits theses trees will provide for my family and generations to come.
