    I hadn't heard of this term before, but it's something I 've seen a lot of. I think there is a multitude of benefits to not removing trees and native plants from land, such as less erosion, lower soil temperatures, more nutrients in the soil.

    I've been noticing the flora and fauna and trying to name them more! I've also been experiencing how each of them smell, or how the aroma of the creek as I walk along it. I enjoy that so much. In my home town I noticed many side walks are in disrepair making them not easy to walk or bike on. I like, at least, that sidewalks are in place in most...

    Cycling has made me realize how well (or poorly) different neighborhoods are cared for in my city. There isn't much social engagement when cycling, but all the extra walks have lead to increased social interaction. I think walking and bike is incredibly more enjoyable than riding as a solo passenger to a nearby location.

    We are doing pretty well--at night we do like to blast the A/C, I'll admit, but we're pretty good otherwise and we have solar panels. Go solar!
