Indiana does offer property tax exemptions (100% exempt from all property taxes associated with the increase in home value caused by installing a solar power system.) Indiana residents are also exempt from all sales tax (7%) on the purchase of their solar power system. There is a federal solar tax credit of 30% of the total price of installation.
