    Food Learn More about Silvopasture
    Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

    I had heard of silvopasture before. I think it's a good use of land that uses grazing and growing of trees in a way that compliments each other and the way grazing exists in natural systems.

    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

    I would use this money to go on a roadtrip or camping!

    Knowing that best by, use by, and sell by are not a hard date of when I should throw out my food, I will waste less by using my judgement more often!

    Food Smaller Portions
    Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

    I can improve my health and save money on food if I control my portion sizes!
