April 17 at 9:03 AMI feel like meat-heavy meals are a staple in the American ideal. Though I know I am lucky to have access to good quality meats and vegetables, I feel like a fruit- and vegetable-rich diet is incredibly important in how I change my diet and how I ensure my family gets plenty of natural vitamins and nutrients on a regular basis.

April 3 at 10:58 AMI learned that the "Best by" and "Use by" dates are intended for consumers but the "Sell by" date is for use by the manufacturers and retailers. I never knew there was a real difference between them! I wonder how much less food Americans would waste if we changed the way we label "expiration dates."
