I am very very sad about declining farmland, and support all local efforts to keep people, esp young people in farming.  I am a member of 2 CSAs 

I've spoken to them about solar panels, we might have too many trees.

Besides sequestering carbon, the animals pastured are treated with respect. 

I'm happy to be finding others as concerned about drawing down carbon as I am.  Staring a monday meeting program. 

I no longer eat red meat, only locally foraged meat (venison, buffalo)

my priority - 0 waste, recycle, reduce, reuse and REFUSE! I am now refusing all plastic, unless it is BIO-plastic, made from vegetables. 

I'm learning about Regen Ag, and am taking a class: Kiss the Ground (from a Rumi poem) A animal grazing B be still, no till C compost - captures carbon, no chemicals D diversify cover crops E=equals drawing down vast amounts of CO2, Ag is big.

American cow famers want subsidies to perfect the digesters.  Focus on small digesters, as  most dairy operation are under 200 cows.
