    An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

    I just realised, that I made candied citrus peels but I put them to cool on a cooking plate that still had some fish aroma on it. And now I have to throw them away.  Sad. So far I've only had to throw away banana and orange peels and egg shells.

    Will speak to my apartment's owner about  this tomorrow and hopefully switch completely to green energy.

    Google helps. Turns out, that cheese has a big carbon footprint. I will keep that in mind. But also googling has a carbon footprint, everything has.

    I would like to plan a house, which, at least some part of it, is heated with geothermal energy.
