This is fun! I've spent time being lazy and wasteful. Hoping this helps to keep me accountable to myself.

    Transport Use Muscle Power
How do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?

Biking is a healthy way to get to work and to get around. Healthy for me and for the earth! When I walk, and to some extent bike, I see the world around me. The birds, the river on the bike trail to work, fellow humans, etc. The extra "work" is often worth it to my mental well being, physical well being, and to my pocket book.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

It would be great if I practiced how not to over eat. I could reduce feelings of gassiness, lose some weight, and save money. Eating less means saving leftovers, less waste!
