    Lots going on in the news with people now talking about climate change looking forward to the committee for climate change's report due out on 2nd may. Hope it has strong guidelines for getting to ambitious targets.

    finally caught up with my pledges. You need to look for them on dashboard. That is not totally clear. Everyone make a last minute effort especially with the one off pledges. We are now in third place in the UK! Many thanks to Jean-louis who has made most of the running.

    Mothers look for practical ways to help their children succeed. it is shocking that women only own 1% of the capital assets in the world.  Collectively We've been robbed!

    Girls education and access to family planning contraceptives and advice will make the biggest difference to world emissions and drawdown potential. It should be the right of women everywhere. A falling population is a good thing!

    it will be interesting to see if electric stoves will be feasible run by solar panels.

    I am also doing an every other day fasting programme to lose weight. My shake worth 205 calories is completely vegan. Soya powder and milk strawberries and linseed and chia seeds. Easy to make.

    Hardest things to give up is cheese and butter but going forward I'll have a dairy free week each month, in the UK grass fed cows have a place in our agriculture.
