REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and Cities Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Lucinda Carroll 4/04/2019 3:48 PMI saw lots of cement, especially in parking lots, that could easily be replaced with permeable pavement of some sort!-
Lorien Barlow 4/05/2019 12:55 PMYES! SO much of our landscape is smothered in cement. And lots of exposed soil is planted with grass/lawns which provide NO environmental benefits whatsoever. We need to make sure every patch of earth is being put to good use--feeding wildlife and pollinators, filtering and absorbing rain water, providing habitat for little critters, and absorbing C02. Trees and wildflowers are also A LOT prettier than concrete and grass/mulch patches.
