    My vision of a sustainable community is at least a zero net production CO2. What needs to change is more investment in either carbon neutral or carbon sequestering energy production.

    One other reason is sustainability, after years of intense industrial agriculture it is important to give more back to the land

    In my area we can start to harvest and use rain water in grey water systems. Also we can recycle grey water at our own home.

    I think people in North America eat a lot of meat because it is cheap and readily available on mass.

    I think one of the most important advantages to supporting local farmers i that we support the community around us and the produce comes fresher and tastes better.
