    yes, there are many eco-conscious retailers in my community.  There are also a wide variety of choices online.

    No I haven't heard of it before. it seems to take all elements of the ecosystem into consideration which means that one aspect doesn't suffer.

    It empowers the consumer to know the difference between when an item should be thrown out, when it should be sold by, and when the product is at it's best.
