Since the Hudson valley is so spread out it sometimes seems impossible to not have a car to get around. I drive daily to work or school, however this past weekend, with such nice weather my friends and I did go on much more walks through the town instead of driving. It was nice to be outside and get to experience the town from a different perspective.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

There are plenty of places I would rather use this money. The first that comes to mind is my rent. I would also like to use it on a vacation. Both of these uses are much better than throwing away food.
