REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Public TransitHow has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?
Leah Grubb 4/22/2019 9:43 AMI love not having a car. Though at times it can be limiting. I enjoy living so close to public transportation and I really appreciate that the company I work for employees a shuttle and driver to pick up commuters from the subway and take them into the Navy Yard. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Eliminate Toxic PlasticsWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Leah Grubb 4/22/2019 9:41 AMI really do love a plastic straw. But, I know that they are adding to our problem with single use plastics. Because of this I have stooped using plastic straws and, have purchased metal straws to use instead.-
Mighty Epiphyte Consulting 4/22/2019 9:42 AMMe too. I also try to use only reusable cups, bottles and lids. Single use Lids are just as bad as straws.

Leah Grubb 4/22/2019 9:39 AMThis challenge is going well. It is reminding me to stop and really think about how all of my actions throughout the day can impact others and our world.
