I use the sell by and best by dates to decide whether to purchase a perishable item so that I can reduce waste.

I love fixing things or buying used items as opposed to buying new, it makes me feel capable, resourceful and saves me money.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Improve a Bus Stop
How can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?

When multiple-person transportation systems are efficient, it just makes sense to use them and reduce stress in your life by not driving.  I have no problem encouraging others to use a mass transit system that works efficiently! Express buses to and from downtown to Seattle neighborhoods can be a great way to get to work.

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

I think we eat meat out of habit; most traditional meals in the US center around meat.
I think this might be changing as we become a more global society and discover delicious  vegetarian meal options from other countries.
