What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

I will have to leave a day earlier to allow for travel by car. However, it is saving money. We/I do a lot of car travel over the summer when the time allows for it. School to chose to send us to a closer conference so that allows for car travel and reduces the amount spent. Also, we will only travel by car - we won't have to rent a car when we get there too.

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

Not knowing about other options is a big factor. I also believe that people don't realize the impact it has on the planet. They aren't aware of all that it takes to get that meat to us.
