REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Ani Kasch 4/09/2019 3:16 PMI imagine it's partly because it's inexpensive, people like the taste of it, and people don't care much about the environmental impacts of eating less meat. -
Ani Kasch 4/03/2019 2:34 PMI spent a fair amount of time reading about the incredible deforestation that occurs during much of the world's coffee production. I want to change my habits to buy coffee that is shade grown and doesn't contribute to deforestation. And maybe drink a little less coffee while I'm at it, since the roasting of coffee beans has a huge carbon footprint as well!
