Family planning is needed in order to lower the number of high risk pregnancy’s. However, millions of women are not using contraception around the world. The lack of information, about how to acquire the right contraceptives is why there is a increase in child births.

    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Smaller portions also help with weight loss if someone wants to minimize their intake levels. It also decreases the changes of obesity which are positive things for a healthy life.

when people burn coal that’s leave a carbon foot print and cars which produces gas, causes large amounts of carbon to be let into the atmosphere. People can find out more by researching information about the carbon foot-print, or reading books about the effects of C02 on climate change.

In class we’ve talked about climate change and how the world is affected everyday. The melting of the icebergs for example does not seem like a lot but is a scary thing. The temperate in Antarctica is heating up causing homes for animals to be lost. These like is are actively happening daily and the government does not care. The only people that can truly do something to regulate the pollution in the air affecting the Ozone Layer are politicians who can help pass laws but the air we breathe is not important enough to them. So I talk about these things in class or with friends.

    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

I can incorporate the R’s into my lifestyle by first refuse plastic forks and cups at restaurants and ask for glass instead for the cup, or silver forks spoons etc. That way my plastic was is reduced than, I can try and fix any broken items I have so I don’t have to get rid or anything or throw it out.  If I have any plastics I will reuse them like old water bottles then recycle them after at while. Lastly, I can pay products from second had stores. Considering the R’s makes me feel more environmentally aware and cautious.
